Who We Are

We’re a gym brand at our core. It’s simple: the gym is what we do.
We design gym apparel, create inspiring content, and build communities that empower people to realise their potential and then equip them with everything they need to get there.

What began with a handful of stringers and T‑shirts made in a UK garage in 2012 has evolved into a global community of fans, athletes and employees, and one of the most recognisable names in gymwear. Thirteen years later, our stores span the UK, US and UAE and our badge is seen in gyms around the world.

Our Journey

A single sewing machine, a deep passion for the fitness industry, and the desire to create something better sparked a movement that changed our lives and the lives of many others across the globe.

From the beginning, our focus has been clear: understand our community and deliver for them. This ambition, combined with relentless application and an instinctive understanding of fitness culture, continues to drive us forward.

In the 14 years since that first sewing machine, we’ve grown across expos, world tours and high streets, becoming a global omni‑channel brand operating across multiple countries, achieving unicorn status, and still uniting one community with one purpose.

Where we go next is still unfolding. But one thing remains constant: the Gymshark community and the shared values that bring us together will always be at our heart.

We see these as the characteristics of a true Gymshark-er. If you see a lot of yourself in them, we could be on to something great.

Do I need to go to the gym to work at Gymshark?

No. It's as simple as that.

You don't need to lift weights, run marathons or know the difference between a barbell and a dumbbell to build a career here.

What matters is your attitude, your mindset and the impact you make. We look for people who are curious, collaborative and driven to do great work. How you show up for yourself, your team and our community is far more important than your gym experience.

Where are you based?

Our HQ, just outside Birmingham, in the heart of the country, is the heart of our brand. It’s at the centre of everything we do: collaboration, ideation, connection. We have a Central London office too, a creative hub for quick meetups and focused work. Our SoHo, New York City location stamps our footprint in the US and spearheads our global growth. And then, across the world, our retail sites make our brand a reality.

What is the dress code?

Very relaxed. No suits required. Equally no suits discouraged, if that’s your thing. If it’s comfortable for you (and it’s not a competitor), it’s perfect.

Do you offer relocation assistance?

How many days in the office do people work?

Because collaboration is at the heart of what we do, our teams are mainly office-based. For some, that’s a minimum of 3 days a week; for others, it could be 4 or 5. Each job will tell you more.

Certain roles require set hours, but many focus on outcomes. As much as the role allows, we want you to have the freedom and flexibility to work in a way that works for you.

Do you offer remote or hybrid working options?

Flexibility depends on the role and team needs; specifics can be discussed early in any application process. You can see the requirements for each role on job ads.

Can I apply for multiple positions?

Yes, you can apply for more than one role where they match your skills and experience.

What happens after I submit my application?

Our Talent team will review your application and contact you if you’re shortlisted. Just so you know, we receive a large volume of applications, but we always do our best to get back to you as soon as we can and aim to keep you updated throughout the process.

Will I be able to get feedback?

We review every application carefully. Because there are so many, which is great. we’re not able to give individual feedback at the application stage. However, if you progress to an interview, you’ll receive specific, personalised feedback designed to help you develop and move forward.

Can I use AI as part of my application?

You’re welcome to use AI to support your application, for example to check grammar, improve clarity, or help you prepare for interviews. However, we ask that you do not use AI during interviews, and that any work you submit as part of your application is your own unless the role specifically encourages AI use. If a task or assessment is part of the application process, we’ll let you know when we send the brief whether AI can be used and, if so, any guidelines you should follow.
